Eric Hanson

Eric Hanson - Paul Dobbler

Eric Hanson was born in East Chicago, IN, and began acting at a very early age, putting on plays in his next door neighbor's basement. After graduating high school in Kingsford, MI, he moved to Minneapolis, where he's been ever since.

Hanson received training in acting and vocal performance at the University of Minnesota and North Hennepin Community College, and has performed in numerous plays, from Shakespeare to musical theatre. Over the past few years, he has expanded his resume to include a number of short films in the Twin Cities area, and is thrilled to be a part of the feature film LAMBENT FUSE.  Favorite past roles have included: Jonathan in “Arsenic and Old Lace,” Stine in “City of Angels,” Tito Merelli in “Lend Me a Tenor,” and, of course, Mule the washed up-has been serial killer in “Mule: A Slasher's Lament.”

Unwilling to be the perpetual starving artist, Hanson received his MA in Speech and Hearing Science and Communication Disorders, and currently works as a Speech/Language Pathologist in the public school system. Having summers off from teaching allows Hanson the opportunity to fulfill his love and need for traveling. He has worked as an English teacher in Thailand, a concert event bartender throughout the U.S., and, his ultimate favorite experience, a ride jock for the traveling carnival.Paul_Dobbler.htmlshapeimage_2_link_0
